Stash Base Base Fertilizer: Organic Inputs and Nutrient Profile
Stash Base is a dry, all-natural base fertilizer with a 2.2-4.0-2.3 NPK backed by 6.9% calcium and 0.52% iron, formulated from 14 organic and mineral sources including calcium phosphate, biochar, crustacean meal, feather meal, fishbone meal, glacial and volcanic rock dusts, alfalfa, insect frass, giant kelp meal, neem seed kernel meal, oyster shell dust, sulfate of potash, calcium carbonate, and fish meal. The 2.02% water-insoluble nitrogen fraction delivers a sustained, slow-release nitrogen supply through microbial breakdown, reducing flush risk and extending feeding intervals between applications.
Dry Soil Amendment Application Rates and Vegetative Timing
Stash Base applies at 2½ Tbsp per gallon of media as a soil amendment and scales to 3–4 Tbsp per gallon at the vegetative rate for top or side dressing every 2–3 weeks. It anchors the vegetative phase of the Stash nutrient program and transitions into Stash Bloom as plants enter flowering, with Stash Blend applied throughout both stages for microbial and metabolic support. Compatible with a wide range of organic and conventional media types, it performs equally as a pre-plant incorporation or as a top or side dress during the active grow cycle.
Key Features
- 2.2-4.0-2.3 NPK with 6.9% Calcium: Phosphorus-forward macronutrient profile supported by substantial calcium for cell wall development and efficient nutrient uptake throughout the vegetative stage.
- 2.02% Water-Insoluble Nitrogen: Slow-release nitrogen fraction breaks down through microbial activity, providing sustained feeding between applications and reducing leaching losses.
- 14-Input Organic and Mineral Blend: Combines biochar, insect frass, kelp meal, volcanic rock dust, and 10 additional organic sources to build biology-friendly carbon structure and broad-spectrum mineral availability in the root zone.
- Flexible Application at 1½–4 Tbsp per Gallon: Supports soil amendment, top dress, and side dress methods across new plantings, young plants, and established vegetative growth with stage-specific dose rates.
- Stash Line Foundation: Designed as the vegetative-phase base of the Stash program, pairing directly with Stash Bloom at transition and Stash Blend throughout for complete organic cycle coverage.

Directions for Use — All rates based on 1 gallon of growing media or soil. Use rates may vary by crop and cultivar.
| Application Method | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Soil Amendment | Incorporate Stash Base, Stash Bloom, and Stash Blend at amendment rates and mix thoroughly into soil or media. Compatible with organic and conventional fertilizers and media types. |
| Top Dress | Broadcast evenly over the soil or media surface. Lightly work into the top layer. Water thoroughly until the full pot or bed is saturated. |
| Side Dress | Place fertilizer in a trench or furrow 3–6 inches from the main stem and 2–4 inches deep. Irrigate until the side-dressed zone and full pot/bed are fully saturated. |

Program Overview
| Phase | Key Steps |
|---|---|
| Vegetative | Amend or top dress with Stash Base + Stash Blend before planting. Small additions of Stash Bloom support establishment. Apply vegetative rate of Stash Base every 2–3 weeks. |
| Flowering | Transition from Stash Base to Stash Bloom at flower onset. Repeat every 2–3 weeks. Include Stash Blend throughout. Taper gradually as plants approach senescence. |
