Stash Blend Plant Additive: Biology, Nutrition, and Silicon in One Formula
Stash Blend runs a 2-1-5 NPK built from corn steep liquor, seaweed extract (Ascophyllum nodosum), and potassium hydroxide — a potassium-forward base that pairs cleanly with the nitrogen-heavy stages of Stash Base and the PK push of Stash Bloom. All nitrogen is water-soluble, so uptake starts at application with no waiting on mineralization. Beyond the NPK, 3.0% humic acid improves cation exchange and nutrient retention in the root zone, and 0.5% soluble silicon reinforces cell wall structure throughout.
Bacillus Species Counts, Mycorrhizal Strains, and Dosing Across the Stash Program
Four Bacillus species anchor the microbial side: Bacillus licheniformis at 1×10⁸ CFU/g leads the pack for nutrient cycling and pathogen suppression, followed by Bacillus pasteurii at 1×10⁷ CFU/g, Bacillus subtilis at 7×10⁶ CFU/g, and Paenibacillus azotofixans at 5.5×10⁶ CFU/g — the latter fixing atmospheric nitrogen directly in the root zone. Four endo mycorrhizal strains (Glomus intraradices, mosseae, aggregatum, and etunicatum at 7 prop/g each) extend effective root surface area and pull in water and nutrients beyond what roots reach on their own. Mix at ½–1 tsp per gallon of water, added last when building your nutrient solution.
Key Features
- 2-1-5 NPK with 100% Water-Soluble Nitrogen: Every gram of nitrogen is immediately plant-available — no waiting on mineralization when the plant needs a fast response during rapid growth phases.
- Bacillus licheniformis at 1×10⁸ CFU/g: Highest-count species in the blend drives nutrient cycling and organic matter breakdown, keeping the rhizosphere biologically active between applications.
- Four Endo Mycorrhizal Strains at 7 prop/g Each: Glomus intraradices, mosseae, aggregatum, and etunicatum collectively expand root surface area, boosting water and nutrient absorption in both soil and amended media.
- 0.5% Soluble Silicon: Goes to work on cell wall integrity and plant resilience — particularly useful in high-humidity environments or any run where structure and stress resistance matter.
- 3.0% Humic Acid: Improves cation exchange capacity and nutrient retention in the root zone, so the NPK from Stash Base and Stash Bloom stays accessible longer between top dress cycles.
